DIGGER DTR
Localisation: Chad
Period: 2010 – 2011
A vast operation of demining, supported by the Swiss Direction of Development and Cooperation (DDC), will begin in 2010 in the Wadi Doum area, North-Eastern Chad. This project was initiated following a request from the National Demining Center of Chad to DIGGER DTR, who makes the mechanized quality control with a machine DIGGER D-3. Being able to use its own machine, with its own operator, provides a maximum efficiency and gives the possibility to transmit to local employees an experience and an autonomy in order to contribute working even after the project ends.
